LUCIEN SHOWING ELAIN HIS POWERS AND HER JUST BEING ALL :o AND HE’S ALL FLUSTERED CAUSE NO ONE EVER THINKS WHAT HE CAN DO IS COOL??? I can’t stop thinking about it🤧

“it’s as easy as breathing,” explains lucien, the flames winking out finger by finger, extinguishing from sheer will and the command he has over his power, with mastery only taught to the sons of autumn in the cavernous forest house.
eyes a lovely shade of chocolate seem to fixate on him with an intensity that’s rare, even for elain. he is not used to this version of her, one that is no longer haunted by grief and sorrow and pain, but instead driven for life, starved for it.
“show me more,” she breathes.

will post the oneshot either tonight or tomorrow ! ! ! !

A COURT OF GOLDEN FEATHERS

Elain Archeron has often been regarded as the softest of the Archeron sisters, but the years have been long and the transition to High Fae difficult. She is no longer the flower grower, but also the seer, and the rose with thorns. Lucien Vanserra is the scorned son of Autumn and heir to Day, with a temper as vibrant as his flames and unmatched, lethal cunning that would leave the fiercest predator quaking.

With a war brewing on the horizon and visions that are guided by the kind hand of the Mother, Elain and Lucien have been scent to the mortal lands to face Koschei, the eldest Death God. Accompanied by Jurian, the trio have one mission, and one mission only: to free the women held captive and to have Vassa reclaim her throne, and quickly at that. Elain and Lucien race against time itself to do what was long regarded as the impossible while struggling with what they’ve long learned to ignore: the mating bond.

pls send me elucien prompts ! all the prompts ! send them ALL MY WAY !

more on elucien: helion being lucien’s father can’t just be a minor plot point, it absolutely holds more importance. lucien being heir to day court while eris is who we know as heir to autumn is 100% a plot device sjm won’t overlook. i also don’t think sjm would give elucien a bond just for the sake of it, and especially if it may damage (because it will) both elain and lucien. regarding lucien and vassa, i don’t find it realistic, especially because vassa’s a human and we’ve seen enough of humans being turned to fae for it to happen again. now elain may still very well end up with azriel, but i think that all three sisters ending with bat boys may be too much for even sjm again. i’m just thinking this out tho, , , ,

do you think elucien will happen

i honestly don’t think there’s a way anyone can lean towards elucien or elriel with certainty :/ i do think that it would honestly be somewhat odd if all three archeron sisters ended up with the three bat brothers, but besides that, i can’t put too much weight in what sjm said in the past about elucien being canon, not to mention that we really do know very little about elain as an individual. i saw a theory thought that elain and lucien may be together in the last book to work on vassa’s curse, but i don’t know and it’s driving me insane.

facts that the acotar fandom blatantly overlooks:

  • lucien is as much a victim of trauma as feyre is. lucien suffered from abuse from both his family and tamlin. lucien was not entirely silent regarding feyre’s treatment from tamlin either. he did all that he could, but he was also abused by tamlin
  • tamlin is not inherently evil, he is a victim of his circumstances. this does not excuse his behavior, but this allows insight on his character. he is flawed, he has done horrible actions, but each one stems from his way of thinking. he lost his parents, brothers, and inherited a position he did not want. his family attempted to kill what was one of his friends, and was then killed by his friend. his relationship with feyre also did not change. in acomaf he was likely similar to acotar; he was still protecting feyre. the issue is, it was heightened by trauma from under the mountain on his end. on feyre’s end, her trauma was neglected and ignored by him. sarah j maas did not elaborate on this further.
  • elain is not meek, she is not delicate, nor is she “boring”. elain killed the king of hybern in a war she did not want to partake in let alone attend. elain made an attempt as seen in acofas to push past her trauma, despite it being repression and unhealthy. she also stole from feyre’s purse before, pre-acotar. she simply has not been given enough page time, and is also viewed from feyre’s perspective. first person bias is real and evident with feyre’s perception of endless characters.
  • nesta archeron is not a bitch, nor is she “playing games” with cassian. she has undergone sexual assault, a transformation into a body that is not hers, has lost her father, did not entirely heal from the loss of her mother, and the loss of her human life. she is not a bitch, she is completely broken mentally and requires help.
  • rhysand’s perception of nesta is understandable. this does not excuse his behavior. he has not grown alongside nesta so he does not know her the way feyre does. all he knows is that she treated feyre cruelly. he is unaware that both feyre and nesta have shared an equally flawed and somewhat toxic relationship, as stated in acotar. all he knows is that she mistreated his mate and that one of his closest friends is in love with her, and he does not understand why, not when he does not understand her as an individual.
  • feyre is also flawed, she is not above criticism. this is very clear within all three books. she is not a bad character, however. all characters within this book series are morally “grey”, and quite honestly, have not been given the clear development they deserved.

— Idk if you're still doing this, but NSFW Elucien headcanons pLEASE??

extremely late on this, but.

  • lucien seems particularly keen on teasing elain ; it’s the first thing he does that hints to elain that he’s far more interested in the kinkier aspects of sex. he teases her to the point of tears, enjoys seeing her arched below him, fingers grasping the sheets tightly. he relishes in the sound of his name uttered on her tongue, almost as if it is a prayer, as if he is her salvation.
  • he enjoys tying her up, relishes in the sight of her bound and utterly helpless beneath him. it feeds into the urge he has to tease lovers endlessly, and at times he worships her for merely allowing him to do so to her, adorning her body in kisses that are utterly gentle and bites that are at odds with what he’d done before.
  • he delights in dirty talks, finding that it leaves her squirming beneath him. the more foul the words the more flushed she becomes, desperate for his touch, for him inside of her. dirty talk alone can leave her soaking for him and ready for the games that the two delight in.
  •  a favorite of elain is when he wraps her hair around his fist, when he’s rough enough with her that all she can do is whimper and can’t hope enough to be able to match his thrusts. he also enjoys gagging her.
  • he’s taken in her public before, had her brace herself against the rough bark of a tree overlooking the estate before causing her to wail and remind him that she was his, and that all he wanted to hear was her name on his lips. he’s also teased her at dinners, fingers sliding beneath her skirts, restlessly climbing higher, and to her surprise not stopping until they were between her legs, causing her to shift and divert her attention anywhere but him.

Hello! Are you still accepting prompts? Uhmm I just thought of one. Can you do a territorial Elain? haha We know that usually, when the bond gets accepted, it’s the males that are usually territorial, so I’d love to see sweet Elain, growls to even her sisters the first time she and Lucien comes out after their bond has been accepted 😉😆

Below the cut !

heknittingoracle: hair braiding

“You’ve always braided my hair but I’ve never neared yours,” muses Lucien, fingertips dancing against the tips of hair.

Elain breathes out, if only because of the sensation that his cool fingertips against her bare, heated skin provides.
